San Diego // Beach Day + Sea World

The last two days we spent in San Diego, my FAVORITE city on the planet.  We went there for part of our honeymoon and I fell in love.

The first day we were exhausted from Disneyland (even two days takes it out of you!) so we had a lazy beach day.  Aubrey loves the beach & Kate loves anywhere (the kid would probably have a huge smile on her face at a funeral) so good times were had.

Later in the day we stopped by the gorgeous San Diego temple.  I love how even pulling up to the parking lot of the temple you feel so much peace there.  The kids were sleeping in the car when we got there so I just went out & took a few pictures.  Stunning!

Later in the evening, we went to the famous Balboa park.  We didn't last too long (again, soo exhausted) but we did get to enjoy about an hour of all the gorgeous buildings.  Amazing architecture!

The rest of the day we just hung around the hotel -

The last day of our vacation we spent at Sea World - so much fun!

The girls at breakfast before we left for the day..

Aubrey telling us where she wants to go first..

She even points her finger with sass.

A kid peed all over our stroller & Aubrey's saltwaters after this.  I don't wanna talk about it!

 Shamu!

Girlfriend was IN THE ZONE.

  1. I've been reading your blog for over 2 years now and love how you are a young mother like I am(I'm 24) which is so hard to find, and have always admired you but pretty please inform yourself about SeaWorld. It is a cruel place to animals. You can watch Blackfish or The Cove to learn a little about the monstrosities that the animals go through. Still love your blog and will continue to read!

    3. So true about SeaWorld! I most definitely won't support them. It's not being a Debbie Downer! Laura Navarrette is simply stating a well-known fact. It's tempting to go to these types of places, but so not worth it for the poor animals. They should be swimming in the sea, not contained in small pools and forced to entertain crowds.
